This virtual PD session is the first in a series on number sense instruction that helps teams build a shared understanding of what number sense is, how it develops across grades, and how instruction can intentionally support students’ mathematical thinking.

It is designed to help teams build a shared understanding of what number sense is, how it develops across grade levels, and how instruction can intentionally support students’ mathematical thinking. Participants will explore key components of number sense that surface across grades and within USNS tasks, establishing a common foundation for instructional planning and collaboration.

Number Sense Instruction Series
Following this introductory session, teams are encouraged to continue with facet-specific sessions focused on Numerals, Words, and Sequences; Addition and Subtraction within 20; Place Value; Multiplication and Division; Fractions; and Problem Solving and Mathematical Reasoning. Learn more here.
Duration
Virtual delivery of the live session is 1 hour and includes a 30-minute planning meeting*.

Who
This training is intended for instructional leadership, coaches, principals, and teachers that will be utilizing results from the USNS assessments. We cap participation for virtual sessions at 100 participants. Contact us if you would like to schedule multiple sessions for a larger group.

Virtual delivery is priced at $600 per session.
