Data-Informed PLCs

Learn how to use your Forefront data successfully to help inform collaborative, grade-level team meetings in this virtual learning opportunity.

This three-part professional learning series helps teams prepare for more effective PLC meetings by using instructionally useful assessment data in Forefront. Instructional leaders learn how to identify and save high-leverage reports and visualizations so PLC time is spent less on analyzing student performance and more on identifying instructional responses.

The series includes a 30-minute planning meeting to align goals and PLC focus areas, a 90-minute professional learning session to identify and save key reports in Forefront, and a 60-minute post-PLC debrief to reflect on what worked well and identify improvements for future meetings.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify reporting views and reports that answer their most pressing questions about student learning
  • Create saved reports and/or dashboards that streamline data analysis in Forefront
  • Use assessment data to surface insights that help focus and guide PLC conversations
